Daksh Dua is Grade 12 student from Delhi, India .According to him, “Innovation doesn’t come from organized plans. It comes from our preparedness to deal with the uncertainty of the future”. Daksh believes that youth has the power to change the world with their bright ideas, if they are guided and supported in a proper way. He is currently The president of his school’s interact club and is also heading the student council of his school as Head Boy. As a science enthusiast Daksh takes part in all the activities related to STEM. He has been participating in India’s Largest Science Fair IRIS (Initiative For Research and Innovation in Science) since he was in 9th grade. His research project presented in IRIS 2011 got Bronze Medal at national level. In IRIS 2013 he won Gold Medal and was qualified to showcase his research at world’s largest pre-college science fair Intel ISEF (International Science and Engineering Fair). At Intel ISEF 2014 which was held at Los Angeles, U.S.A he won 3 top awards The First Grand Award, Best in Category Award and Cultural visit to China Award. As a part of First Grand Award he will also be getting a minor planet named after his name (courtesy: Massachusetts Institute of Technology) Apart from being a science guy he is always active in sports and other extra-curricular activities like photography etc. Daksh is extremely passionate about his work, he believes “Impossible is Nothing”.
